When we get to this time of year you want to tie fundraising to fun and cool (or think wet) promotions.
That idea leads to dunk tanks as a way to raise funds for your group.
You want to find a high-traffic location (the one pictured was at a local Wal-Mart) and one that will be able to supply the water. You can rent the dunk tank from a vendor. Male sure you have a good sign telling what the fundraiser is for. You want to offer the folks at the location a reason to come over and try to dunk the person. If you can have a person the people would like to dunk all the better.
You need to be very loud and vocal to get people to come to your location. Make it a challenge or “Free” with a donation. You will get at least a dollar to have them try. You want them to have fun so you can move younger or older pitchers closer to the tank.
