Combined School Fundraisers

In these tough economic times we all know that many educational programs have been under-funded and parents and teachers have had to change and improve the ways they go about raising much needed funds to keep the programs and groups going.

Many school groups are now going about their plans for raising funds for the fall 2012 programs.  These groups compete with each other for the ever shrinking pool of funds.  The group of people that are targeted as potential donors and buyers are many times overwhelmed by the sheer number of groups and the number of times they are approached by school groups to raise funds by sales and donation requests.

Distribution of Funds
If you are wondering how you can distribute the funds here are three ways to do that.

Each group tracks the sales made by individual student / volunteer names.  The sales dollars are then given to each group based on the actual dollars raised.

The total amount raised is divided evenly among the groups who participated.

Each group submits a budget with a goal amount.  When the sales groups are finished with fundraising the amounts first fill the groups goal amount.  Any of the groups that doesn’t reach their goals is then funded by groups who exceed their sales goal dollar amounts.

The sales of Sunset Coupons can of course be augmented by other traditional fundraising events like bake sales, carnivals and car washes or other fun events that students also want to try.

Also consider using all three forms of donations, cash, checks and credit cards for your next fundraising campaign.
