Think Local For Fundraising


Support your local area as you fund raise for your organization. Your prospective donors and buyers will appreciate you and your organization keeping all the funds working locally.

If you are just asking for donations you will have better results if you tie you booth location into local events.  These could be a local art or craft fair.  You could ask for booth space at a local Farmers Market or flower festival.

If you are buying something to resell to the public they will respond better if your sales items are made or grown in your local area.  Need an idea?  Do you have a local honey producer?  Work out a deal with them to sell the honey at a local event.  Ask them to sell to your organization, at least, at the wholesale price so you can make at least 40% on every jar sold.  You could even be brave and ask for them to donate a portion of the product you are selling at no charge.
